Becker, Sherburne County<\/strong> (trfnews.i234.me<\/a>) \u2014 A Shakopee man is charged after tools vanished from a Becker home site.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors charged Nathan Michael Molyneux, 35, with third-degree burglary and felony theft.<\/p>\n

The complaint says the tools were worth more than $4,000.<\/p>\n

It also says the victim later found the tools listed on Facebook Marketplace.<\/p>\n

What investigators say happened<\/h2>\n

A sheriff\u2019s office deputy responded to a home site on 143rd Avenue SE in Becker on March 22, 2025.<\/p>\n

The owner told deputies he was building the home.<\/p>\n

He said a back sliding door was left unlocked for a plumber.<\/p>\n

He reported that several tools were missing when he returned.<\/p>\n

Investigators noted tire tracks in the driveway, the complaint says.<\/p>\n

Tools spotted online<\/h2>\n

The victim contacted investigators again on March 26, 2025.<\/p>\n

He said he saw his tools for sale on Facebook Marketplace<\/a>.<\/p>\n

A buyer told investigators he had already purchased some of the tools.<\/p>\n

The buyer provided a photo of the seller and the seller\u2019s truck, the complaint says.<\/p>\n

Investigators identified the seller as Molyneux, the complaint says.<\/p>\n

The complaint says a nearby business video captured the tool sale on March 21, 2025.<\/p>\n

Search and phone data<\/h2>\n

Investigators stopped Molyneux for an unrelated matter on April 9, 2025, the complaint says.<\/p>\n

They photographed his vehicle\u2019s tires.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors allege the tread matched tracks seen at the Becker site.<\/p>\n

Investigators searched a residence in Big Lake Township where Molyneux was a tenant.<\/p>\n

The complaint says stolen tools were recovered from the basement.<\/p>\n

Cell tower records also placed his phone near the site during the theft window.<\/p>\n

Charges and court status<\/h2>\n

Molyneux is charged with Felony Burglary in the Third Degree under Minnesota Statute 609.582<\/a>.<\/p>\n

He is also charged with Felony Theft under Minnesota Statute 609.52<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Prosecutors list March 20, 2025, as the offense date.<\/p>\n

The case was filed January 7, 2026, in Sherburne County District Court.<\/p>\n

A warrant was issued for Molyneux\u2019s arrest, according to the complaint.<\/p>\n

Court records list Judge Kristi Stanislawski on the file.<\/p>\n

The file lists bail at $0.00.<\/p>\n

Court records also show a separate Wright County warrant active since October 2025.<\/p>\n
