Reports came from Oklee, Louisville Township, and Red Lake Falls.<\/p>\n

The Sheriff\u2019s Office released an activity summary dated January 2, 2026.<\/p>\n

Oklee apartment complaint<\/h2>\n

On December 29, 2025, a residential manager reported trouble with tenants in Oklee.<\/p>\n

A deputy spoke with the manager and shared guidance.<\/p>\n

Officials said the issue was not criminal.<\/p>\n

The manager was told it was a landlord and tenant matter.<\/p>\n

Louisville Township porch package theft<\/h2>\n

On December 30, 2025, a Louisville Township resident reported that a FedEx package had been taken from a porch.<\/p>\n

The case remains under investigation.<\/p>\n

Child custody dispute<\/h2>\n

On December 31, 2025, a deputy responded to a child custody dispute in Red Lake County.<\/p>\n

The deputy helped calm the situation and documented the call.<\/p>\n

Those involved were advised to take the matter to the Family Court.<\/p>\n

Snowmobile trespass report<\/h2>\n

On January 1, 2026, a Red Lake Falls resident reported that a snowmobile was driven on private property.<\/p>\n

The rider was contacted and told to stay off the property without permission.<\/p>\n

Snowmobilers stuck west of Red Lake Falls<\/h2>\n

Later on January 1, 2026, deputies assisted snowmobilers stuck in deep snow.<\/p>\n

The group was along County Road 11 west of Red Lake Falls.<\/p>\n

They were given a ride and planned to return for the machines.<\/p>\n
