What investigators are looking at<\/h2>\n

Several outlets reported a criminal probe tied to immigration enforcement in Minnesota.<\/p>\n

Sources said it reviews claims of a plan to impede federal agents.<\/p>\n

One law cited in reporting is 18 U.S.C. \u00a7 372<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Leaders respond<\/h2>\n

Walz called the probe political and said it targets opponents.<\/p>\n

On January 7, a federal immigration officer shot and killed Renee Good.<\/p>\n

Reports based on a fire department record said Good had four gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n

On January 14, another person was shot during a federal arrest in north Minneapolis.<\/p>\n

Judge limits crowd tactics<\/h2>\n

A federal judge issued an order tied to protests around the operations.<\/p>\n

The order bars agents from detaining peaceful protesters who are not interfering.<\/p>\n

The order also limits tear gas and similar crowd tools in those cases.<\/p>\n

The lawsuit was backed by the ACLU of Minnesota<\/a>, reports said.<\/p>\n

Trump raises the Insurrection Act<\/h2>\n

President Donald Trump said he could invoke the Insurrection Act in Minnesota.<\/p>\n
