Woodbury, Minnesota — Woodbury Tragedy: Woman Killed in Early Morning Inferno on Pinehurst Road

Woodbury, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) — A woman in her 60s tragically lost her life early Thursday morning after a massive house fire consumed her home on the 9000 block of Pinehurst Road in Woodbury.

Just after 5:30 a.m., Woodbury Public Safety was dispatched to a reported house fire. When crews arrived, they found the residence fully engulfed in flames.

Homeowners at the scene informed authorities that one person might still be trapped inside. Firefighters immediately launched an aggressive attack on the fire while simultaneously initiating a search operation. Tragically, a short time later, responders located the woman deceased inside the burning home.

Multiple fire and EMS agencies responded to assist, including departments from:

  • Lakeview Ambulance

  • Lake Elmo

  • Cottage Grove

  • Oakdale

  • Newport

  • Saint Paul Park

  • Maplewood

As of late Thursday morning, Woodbury Public Safety remained on scene conducting a thorough investigation to determine the cause of the blaze. The identity of the woman and the official cause of death have not yet been released by officials.
