STERLING, N.D. (trfnews.i234.me) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has identified Kaylene Dunn, 41, as the victim in a fatal crash that occurred Sunday night on I-94 near Sterling in Burleigh County.
Dunn was driving eastbound in a van when she lost control, causing the vehicle to cross into the westbound lanes.
The van collided with the middle of a semi-trailer and was crushed under the trailer’s rear tires.
Dunn tragically died at the scene.
The semi’s driver, Vernon Bossen, 73, of Mora, Minnesota, was not injured in the accident.
The investigation into the cause of the crash is ongoing.
