Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — A woman is facing multiple felony charges in connection with a stolen vehicle case in Fargo.
According to court records, Liza Rose Rencountre, with no address listed, has been charged with felony theft of property, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The case began on October 24th when the owner of a vehicle reported it missing. Investigators later linked the theft to Rencountre, who was allegedly found with meth and paraphernalia connected to the case. The stolen vehicle has since been recovered.
Each felony charge carries potential prison time and fines under North Dakota law. Theft of property involving a vehicle can result in up to 10 years in prison, while possession of meth and paraphernalia also carries serious penalties.
Court proceedings are underway in Cass County District Court. Officials have not released additional details regarding the recovery location of the vehicle or whether other suspects are involved.
