Woman Arrested After Drug Raid at Cooperstown Thrift Store
Cooperstown (trfnews.i234.me) — A woman is in custody following what appears to be a drug raid at a thrift store in Cooperstown, North Dakota, on Thursday afternoon.
According to eyewitnesses, law enforcement swarmed the More for Less Thrift Store on Main Street in Cooperstown, with approximately 10 marked and unmarked vehicles and multiple K9 units at the scene. The large police presence drew attention from nearby residents and shoppers as officers executed the operation.
Haley D. Brandner of Griggs County was taken into custody and later booked into the Stutsman County Jail in Jamestown, North Dakota. She is currently being held on a preliminary charge of possession of methamphetamine.
Authorities have not yet released official details about what led to the raid or whether additional arrests are expected. Formal charges are anticipated to be filed on Friday in the Griggs County District Court. The Griggs County Sheriff’s Office and assisting agencies have not yet issued a formal statement.
