hey everybody Neal Carlson out here on the highway in Northwest Minnesota this is Highway 2 between Crookston and Grand Forks the calendar says April in fact we’re getting close to may but it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas National Weather Service says we’re in a winter storm warning we’re here in Northwest Minnesota and Northeast North Dakota until 4 a.m on Friday a possibility of six or more inches of snow and wind up to 45 miles per hour at this point we’ve got about two three inches of slush on the roadway could get really nasty if the wind picks up we’ll see what happens in the land where the winter just doesn’t seem to want to end this year I’m the old Carlson reporting for itrfnews.i234.me

Lived in G.F. in the 80s, moved back to Bemidji in 86', dodging the great flood the following year! Drove hwy 2 many times all year long. A treacherous stretch in a white-out! Fought the elements in the north country long enough and retired in 2011 to the Southwest! Miss the people, not the weather.
