WISCOY TOWNSHIP (trfnews.i234.me) – A South Carolina man was injured Monday night, June 23, after his vehicle struck a deer while traveling eastbound on Interstate 90 near Milepost 258 in Winona County.
Authorities say 28-year-old Raymond Anthony Borgatti of Enoree, South Carolina, was driving a 2025 Nissan Kicks when the vehicle collided with a deer. He suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Winona Hospital.
Also in the vehicle were his wife, Katlynn Marie Borgatti (26), and their two children, a 7-year-old girl and a 2-year-old boy. Fortunately, none of the passengers were injured, and all were wearing seat belts.
The airbags deployed, and alcohol was not involved. Agencies responding included Ridgeway Fire and Winona Ambulance.
