Winona, Winona County (trfnews.i234.me) – A two-vehicle crash occurred at 3:43 p.m. on July 9, 2025, at the intersection of Southbound Highway 61 and Bundy Blvd. in Winona.
A 2014 Ford Focus, driven by Jesse John Schilling, 45, of Winona, was traveling northbound on Bundy Blvd. when it collided with a 2020 Subaru Outback, which was heading southbound on Highway 61.
Schilling was not injured, while the Subaru’s driver, Lally J Whetstone, 66, and passenger, Jeffrey L Whetstone, 62, both of Lake Zurich, Illinois, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were treated at Winona Health.
Airbags deployed in both vehicles. All occupants were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not a factor. The roadway was dry, and emergency response included Winona Police, Fire, and Ambulance services.
