Willow City, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — A Willow City woman is facing serious felony charges after allegedly stealing prescription medication from a neighbor’s home, according to court documents.
On June 12th, a local man reported to law enforcement that Melanie Jo Hill had entered his residence. The man provided surveillance footage showing Hill in the home, and stated that his hydrocodone (a prescription painkiller) was missing.
During questioning, Hill reportedly admitted to taking the pills, telling the deputy she assumed the victim wouldn’t mind, claiming he had previously given her pills.
Now, Hill faces two felony charges:

Theft of Prescription Drugs
If convicted, she could face significant prison time, as both are serious felony offenses under North Dakota law.
