Wilkinson Township, Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — On March 16, 2025, a serious crash occurred on Highway 371 at 144th Street in Wilkinson Township, Cass County. A northbound 2007 Lincoln Navigator, driven by 34-year-old Tami Louise Clark of Cass Lake, MN, veered off the road after hitting slush, lost control, and struck a tree in the southbound ditch.
Clark sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the Indian Health Service in Cass Lake. A 19-year-old passenger, Mariano Simar Adams, also from Cass Lake, was injured but did not require hospital transport. Road conditions were snowy and icy at the time of the crash, and the Cass County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
