Wilkin County (trfnews.i234.me): $6K Reward in Barnesville Burglary Case

Authorities in Wilkin County, Minnesota, say a $6,000 reward is now being offered for information leading to the recovery of stolen items and additional arrests connected to a burglary at a farm south of Barnesville.

According to the Wilkin County Sheriff’s Office, the burglary happened last December.
Investigators say money and several personal documents were taken from a farm property.
A safe containing valuable property was also stolen during the break-in.

A Fargo man, 37-year-old Benjamin Emerson, was arrested earlier in connection with the crime.
However, authorities believe that other individuals were involved in the burglary and remain at large.

The property owner, who personally put up the $6,000 reward, hopes that the offer will help locate the missing safe and the items inside, as well as lead to further arrests.

Anyone with information about the burglary or the whereabouts of the stolen property is urged to contact Crime Stoppers of Minnesota at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
Tips can remain anonymous, and rewards will be paid if the information leads to recovery or arrests.
