Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — Francis Nixon, a resident of West Fargo, North Dakota, has been arrested and charged with terrorizing an adult victim, terrorizing a child victim, and reckless endangerment following a violent incident involving his ex-girlfriend and their child.

On May 24, 2025, police responded to a reported vehicle accident in the 1000 block of 23rd Street South. Upon investigation, the victim reported that Nixon, her ex-boyfriend, had intentionally caused damage to her vehicle. She stated that Nixon arrived at her residence visibly upset, demanding to pick up their daughter. When she refused, Nixon allegedly threatened to kill her.

As the victim attempted to leave, Nixon reportedly followed her and crashed his vehicle into the side of hers. He then exited his vehicle, continued to threaten her, and attempted to punch her passenger. The passenger informed police that Nixon had made multiple threats to kill the victim over the past year and had sent a text message earlier that day stating, “you will get what is coming to you.”

The victim managed to drive to a parking lot at 2425 25th Street South, but Nixon followed her and continued to issue threats. Upon learning that police had been called, Nixon fled the scene. He later contacted law enforcement, claiming that the victim had tried to run him off the road, before ending the call.

The victim expressed deep concern for her safety and that of her child and passenger, stating that she feared Nixon would eventually kill her and that such behavior was not uncommon for him.

Nixon is scheduled to appear in court on July 3, 2025.
