West Fargo, Cass County (trfnews.i234.me) — Police arrested a Fargo man after a reported assault. Police say a woman was attacked more than once.

Brodrick Jenkins faces a charge of aggravated assault with a dangerous weapon. He also faces a domestic violence charge. Court papers say the reported assault happened on November 9, 2025.

What police allege

Police say the woman called the West Fargo Police Department on November 14, 2025. She said Jenkins assaulted her on November 9. She also said assaults happened almost every day.

In her report, the woman said she feared for her life. She described an argument that turned violent. She said Jenkins backed her into a corner.

The woman said Jenkins hit her in the face with a closed fist. She said she tried to move away. She said Jenkins ran after her.

She said Jenkins asked why she was running. She said he warned her it would get worse.

Police say Jenkins then punched her in the left ribs. The woman said he grabbed a baseball bat. She said he pushed her back into the corner.

The woman said Jenkins jabbed the bat toward her side. She said it hit near the spot he punched. She said she grabbed the bat to stop him.

She said Jenkins pulled the bat away. She said he swung it toward her legs. She said the bat hit her several times.

Injuries police reported

Police wrote that Jenkins made the woman go to a bedroom. The woman said he kicked her toward a bed. She said he slapped her down with an open hand.

Officers reported seeing bruises on her body. They noted bruising on her eyelid, legs, and ribs.

Supervision status and court date

Court papers say Jenkins was under federal supervision at the time. Police wrote that he wore an ankle monitor. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 27.

Jenkins is presumed innocent unless proven guilty. Charges are allegations until a court ruling.
