West Fargo, ND (trfnews.i234.me) — A late Thursday night crash in West Fargo sent one driver to the hospital and left two parked vehicles damaged. Police say alcohol was a factor in the crash. The incident happened in Cass County.

According to West Fargo Police, the crash was reported at 10:48 p.m. on Thursday. Officers were called to the 1500 block of 10th Avenue East for a traffic collision involving a single vehicle. When officers arrived, they found a car that had rolled multiple times before coming to rest near two parked vehicles. Both parked vehicles were unoccupied.

Investigators say the driver lost control, causing the rollover. The out-of-control vehicle then struck two parked cars. The impact caused significant damage to the vehicles involved. Weather and road conditions were not listed as contributing factors.

The driver was cited for driving under the influence. Police say the driver was taken to a local hospital for injuries from the crash. The extent of the injuries has not been released. No other injuries were reported at the scene.

West Fargo Police continue to review the details of the rollover. They have not released the identity of the driver at this time. Authorities say additional information could be released as the investigation moves forward.

DUI-related crashes remain a major concern in North Dakota. According to the North Dakota Department of Transportation, impaired driving continues to be a leading factor in serious crashes statewide.

Anyone with information about this incident is encouraged to contact the West Fargo Police Department. Updates will be posted as more details become available.
