West Fargo (trfnews.i234.me) ā A Christmas night disturbance call in West Fargo turned into a vehicle pursuit and crash, according to an update from West Fargo Police.
Police said officers were dispatched at 7:14 p.m. Thursday to the 2900 block of 7th Street West for a reported disturbance. A caller reported a male suspect assaulted them and then stole their vehicle, according to the police update.
Traffic Stop Attempt and Pursuit
Police said officers located the suspect vehicle at about 7:40 p.m. in the area of the original call. Officers attempted a traffic stop, police said. The vehicle then fled, and a pursuit was started.
Shortly after the pursuit began, police said the suspect vehicle crashed into a tree. The vehicle then struck a nearby residence near the intersection of Kensington Drive and Hidden Circle.
Police said the home had minimal damage. No injuries inside the residence were reported in the police update.

Suspect Identified and Charges Listed
Police identified the driver as Dennis Bone Jones, 35, of Boulder, Colorado. Police said Jones was charged with felony fleeing a peace officer and felony theft of a motor vehicle.
Police also listed charges of driving under suspension, protection order violation, and domestic violence assault causing bodily injury.
Jones was taken to a local hospital for injuries from the crash, police said. As of Friday morning, he remained hospitalized.
Vehicle Impounded
Police said the suspect vehicle was impounded as part of the investigation.
Charges are accusations. Jones is presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
