West Fargo (trfnews.i234.me) – A West Fargo man, already tied to an April burglary in Horace, is facing new theft charges after a bizarre shoplifting incident involving fake movie money at West Acres Mall.

Timothy Lowseth, who was arrested in April, now faces charges of false information to law enforcement, attempted theft, criminal mischief, and theft.

According to court documents, on April 16, Lowseth tried to steal jeans worth $65.99 from Buckle by wearing them under his own pants and damaging the tag. When confronted, he allegedly tried to pay with motion picture money, knowing it was fake.

Lowseth also reportedly stole jeans worth $79.99 from American Eagle Outfitters, placing them in his backpack and walking out without paying.

He initially gave police the name “Scott Lowseth”, but officers identified him using a North Dakota booking photo.

This mall theft took place five days before the burglary in Horace for which he had already been charged.
