Thief River Falls, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – On April 27 at 11:47 a.m., a report of theft at Old Bostwicks led to Wendy Sue Gustafson, 53, of Thief River Falls, being cited for theft. She was allegedly caught on video surveillance stealing a clock, observed by a customer. Upon questioning by an officer, Gustafson claimed she grabbed the clock, fearing her appendix was bursting. She then mentioned suffering from stomach cancer and asserted she had made a deal with the owner to pay for the clock. However, the owner denied any such agreement and informed the officer that Gustafson was known for shoplifting from the store. The clock was returned to the store.
