WELLS TWP, Rice County — 73-Year-Old Biker Injured After Harley Rolls Into Median on I-35

WELLS TOWNSHIP, Rice County (trfnews.i234.me) — A 73-year-old man from Owatonna, identified as Patrick Michael Finnegan, was injured after losing control of his 2022 Harley Davidson FLFBS motorcycle while traveling northbound on I-35 near Milepost 59 on the morning of March 28, 2025.

Authorities say Finnegan’s motorcycle rolled into the median just before 11 a.m. The road was dry, and no other vehicles were involved. Finnegan was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to North Memorial Hospital by North Memorial Ambulance.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash. Responding agencies included Faribault Police, Faribault Fire Department, and North Memorial Ambulance.
