and Oregon man has died in a drowning on a Devil’s Lake in North Dakota this from the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Department Saturday 3 26 p.m uh the report was received to uh Creole Bay South of Woodland Resort for a swimmer that had gone underwater and never came back up Ramsey County Sheriff’s department and Lake Region search and rescue arrived on scene and located a pontoon that was in the area of where the swimmer had gone under the occupants of the Pontoon said that a male had jumped off to go swimming they noticed that when the swimmer came up the swimmer was in distress they attempted to get the swimmer on the pontoon but were unable to before the swimmer went underwater Lake Region’s search and rescue started rescue operations and were assisted by local fishermen using Electronics to locate the swimmer operations were ended Saturday evening due to low light conditions on Sunday uh rescue operations were continued with the assistance of the stutzman county dive team and Lake Region search and rescue the swimmer was recovered at approximately 11 39 a.m Sunday the victim has been identified as Gary Foster Williams Jr of Eugene Oregon I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me
