Wave of Counterfeit Bills Hits the Region, Charges Filed in Fargo

FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) There have been a rash of counterfeit bills being passed at towns around the region. Now, charges have been filed against one man in an alleged conspiracy.
the charges have now been filed in Fargo following a rash of counterfeit bills around the region last month Grand Forks police released a surveillance video and a photo of fake $100 bills being passed around greater Grand Forks no arrests in those cases yet and last week we told you about an arrest in Warwick near Devil’s Lake after a woman allegedly tried to pass a counterfeit $100 bill at a bar and this week counterfeit $50 bills have been passed around in Crookston now in Fargo a conspiracy to commit counterfeiting charge has been filed against James Murphy of Fargo charges are apparently pending against two other people court records say between October 21st and November 18th of last year there were 21 reports of counterfeit $100 bills being passed out at various businesses in Fargo all of those bills had the same serial number of eight to one 704 735 according to court records packages of counterfeit bills were shipped to Fargo via mail FedEx or UPS from Philadelphia I’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
