Mahnomen County (trfnews.i234.me) K. Snetsinger, 21, of Waubun, is charged with a gross misdemeanor DWI.
The charge alleges a high alcohol level while driving. The case was filed on January 5, 2026. The alleged offense date is January 4, 2026.
Vehicle Found In Ditch
The complaint says a deputy got a call around 6:30 a.m. The report was a vehicle in a ditch. The location was near County Road 6.
The deputy found the vehicle with the engine running. The hazard lights were on, the complaint says.
Snetsinger was in the back seat, according to the complaint. She was lying down and appeared asleep.
Investigators reported no footprints near the vehicle. That suggested the car had been there a while.
The driver showed signs of impairment
The deputy woke Snetsinger and asked questions. The complaint says she seemed confused. She said she thought she was in a garage.
The complaint describes slurred speech and an alcohol odor. Snetsinger told the deputy she drank earlier, the complaint says.
She also said she left Mahnomen around 1:00 a.m. The complaint does not list any passengers.

Breath Tests Reported
A preliminary test at the scene read 0.137, according to the complaint. A later breath test read 0.14 at 7:40 a.m.
