Waubun, Mahnomen County (trfnews.i234.me) A 19-year-old woman from Naytahwaush is charged after an early-morning assault in Waubun.
Alondra Danelle Miller, 19, is charged with felony third-degree assault. The charge alleges substantial bodily harm. The case was filed on February 18, 2026. The alleged offense date is February 17, 2026.
What investigators allege
According to the criminal complaint, deputies were sent to a Waubun home at about 2:51 a.m. A caller said her niece had been beaten. Deputies found the victim with a swollen face. Blood was visible. The victim could not open her right eye.
The victim told deputies that her cousin, Kaylee Lynn Warren, 19, arrived with Miller. An argument started. The dispute involved the father of the victim’s child. The victim told both women to leave. She said they should leave if they wanted to fight.
Investigators allege Warren and Miller then punched the victim. The victim fell to the ground. The complaint says the pair stomped on the back of her head. The victim said she was kicked many times. She also said Miller pulled her down during the struggle.
Emergency medical staff checked the victim at the scene. The complaint notes a large bump on the right side of her head.

Traffic stop and arrest
Deputies later found a silver vehicle described in the report. It was near Highway 59 and Highway 200. A group was arguing outside a nearby home.
A man at the scene told deputies that Warren had beaten his sister. During the contact, Warren allegedly yelled at a deputy. The complaint says she also struck the deputy in the face. Warren’s case is being handled separately.
Miller was found sitting in the vehicle, according to the complaint. She told deputies she tried to break up the fight.
Court action and next steps
Miller made her first appearance in Mahnomen County District Court. Judge Seamus Patrick Duffy set bail at $1,000 cash. The court ordered standard release rules. Miller must attend future hearings. She must also remain law-abiding.
Under Minnesota law, third-degree assault can carry felony penalties. The statute is Minn. Stat. § 609.223.
