Watford City, ND: Intoxicated Man Found Walking in 32° Weather | TRF News

Watford City, ND – Emergency responders were called out early Tuesday morning at approximately 3:30 a.m. for a medical emergency involving an intoxicated man walking outside in dangerously cold temperatures.

According to reports, Mountrail County Ambulance was dispatched to the intersection of Hillside Drive and Buffalo Hills Drive for a male who had been wandering for 15 to 20 minutes in 32-degree temperatures, without proper clothing for the weather.

Authorities have not yet released the man’s condition, but prolonged exposure to near-freezing temperatures—especially while intoxicated—can lead to hypothermia and other serious medical complications.

Emergency personnel remain on the scene, and we will provide updates as more details emerge later this morning.
