Washington County Collision: Semi-Truck Crash on Highway 95 Leaves Wisconsin Man Critically Injured – trfnews.i234.me

Washington County (trfnews.i234.me)On Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at approximately 1:52 p.m., a serious three-vehicle collision occurred at the intersection of Highway 95 (Manning Avenue) and 70th Street South in Denmark Township, Washington County. A northbound 2022 Freightliner Cascadia semi-truck, driven by 27-year-old Gurusevak Singh of Indianapolis, Indiana, collided with an eastbound 2011 GMC Sierra pickup truck, operated by 48-year-old Shane Joseph Loughney of Woodville, Wisconsin. The impact pushed Loughney’s vehicle into a 2004 GMC Sierra driven by 20-year-old Thomas Arnold Dorschner of Hastings, Minnesota, which was stopped in the southbound lanes of Highway 95.

Loughney sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to Regions Hospital. Singh was taken to Regina Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Dorschner reported non-life-threatening injuries but did not require hospitalization. All drivers were wearing seat belts, and alcohol was not involved in the crash.

The Minnesota State Patrol is investigating the incident. The Cottage Grove Police Department, Cottage Grove Fire/EMS, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, and Hastings Fire/EMS assisted at the scene.
