A Warren man has been charged in Marshall County District Court after he allegedly pointed a shotgun at four people in a home and then fired the shotgun through a ceiling.

Jeremiah Adam Anderson, 41, Warren, has been charged with four counts of felony second-degree assault, one count of misdemeanor domestic assault, and one count of misdemeanor harassment violation of a restraining order.

He was arrested.

The charges stemmed from a report of a domestic assault in progress at a Warren home, according to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office. His wife allegedly said he was in the house with a shotgun even though there is an active protection order that precludes Anderson from having contact with the woman.

Anderson allegedly entered the house with a shot gun and pointed the gun at his wife, his wife’s two children, and his wife’s sister. He stated that he was going to kill them and then he fired the shotgun through the ceiling of the house.

Marshall County deputies surrounded the house along with the Minnesota State Patrol, Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, and a Pennington County sheriff’s deputy.

Anderson eventually walked out the back of the house and a Marshall County deputy ordered him to the ground. He would not comply and was brought to the ground gently.

Anderson was then arrested without incident.
