Warrant Issued for Man in Connection with Drug Overdose Death

VALLEY CITY, ND (trfnews.i234.me) An arrest warrant has been issued for a Valley City man, who’s now charged with supplying the drugs that killed a woman in September of this year.
for the second time in a week we have a charge filed in connection to a drug overdose death earlier this week a thief river falls man was charged in connection with the drug overdose death in saint olaire minnesota now christopher m stevens of valley city has been charged with the delivery of a controlled substance resulting in death uh reading from the criminal complaint christopher m stevens willfully delivered methamphetamine to charlene k wigan which resulted in her death due to the use of methamphetamine and her death would not have occurred in the absence of the defendant’s conduct unquote this happened on september 15th of 2021 the charge is a class a felony that carries a maximum sentence of 20 years in prison in north dakota and as i said an arrest warrant has been issued for stevens at this point he is not in custody as of this late thursday afternoon i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
