NARRATIVE:
On 11 July 2024 at approximately 3:12 PM CST, a Jeep Compass was northbound on Broadway in the right lane next to another vehicle in the left lane. A juvenile on a pedal bicycle was eastbound and entered the intersection of 4th Avenue Northwest and Broadway. The juvenile was struck by the Jeep Compass. The juvenile sustained serious injuries and was transported to Trinity Hospital by Trinity First Response. The driver of the Jeep was not injured. Northbound traffic was closed at the intersection for approximately an hour and a half. The crash remains under investigation by the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
