WALHALLA ( trfnews.i234.me ) — A Walhalla, North Dakota, man is facing a felony charge after allegedly using a computer to lure a minor.

According to court documents, Blake Allan Hannesson of Walhalla has been charged with felony luring a minor by computer. Investigators say he allegedly communicated with a 13-year-old girl, asking for photos and suggesting sexual activity.

The case began when a guardian of the juvenile contacted authorities after discovering the messages. Investigators linked Hannesson’s phone to the texts exchanged with the girl.

On October 28th, Hannesson was questioned by officers but reportedly told them he wanted a lawyer before making any further statements. He was then placed under arrest.

Luring a minor by computer is a serious felony in North Dakota and can carry significant prison time. More details about state laws on internet crimes against children are available from the North Dakota Attorney General’s Office.
