Wabasha County, Minnesota (trfnews.i234.me) — The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed that the subject of a manhunt near Elgin on Tuesday is now in custody.
Authorities had been searching for 29-year-old Drew Davis, who was allegedly driving a stolen vehicle involved in a head-on crash about two miles west of Elgin. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Davis was traveling westbound when he collided with an eastbound vehicle.
Following the crash, Davis reportedly fled the scene on foot, prompting a shelter-in-place order and a coordinated manhunt involving K-9 units and drone surveillance.
The other driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries, according to law enforcement.
