Wabasha County Crash Injures One on MN Hwy 42

Wabasha County (trfnews.i234.me) – A crash involving two vehicles on MN Hwy 42 near Wabasha County left one driver with non-life-threatening injuries on December 7, 2025. The incident occurred at 7:40 a.m. near Milepost 23, in Watopa Township.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the 2011 Ford F150 and 2012 Subaru Forester were both traveling northbound when the vehicles collided on icy, snow-covered roads.

The Ford F150 was driven by Bryton Thomas Miller, a 29-year-old male from Kellogg, MN. He was not injured in the crash and was wearing his seatbelt. The vehicle’s airbags did not deploy, and alcohol was not involved in the incident.

Amber Marie Provance, a 39-year-old female from Pepin, WI, was the driver of the Subaru Forester. She sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Wabasha Hospital. Her airbags deployed, and she was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the collision. Alcohol was not a factor in the crash.

Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office, Wabasha Police Department, Kellogg Fire Department, and Wabasha Ambulance assisted at the scene.
