Wabasha County Crash: Harley Rider Slams Guardrail on Hwy 60

West Albany Township, Wabasha County (trfnews.i234.me)A 56-year-old man from Willmar, Minnesota, sustained non-life-threatening injuries after his motorcycle struck a guardrail on Highway 60 in West Albany Township.

The incident occurred at approximately 4:28 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025, near the intersection of Highway 60 and County Road 13. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Troy Roger Rutz was traveling westbound on his 2007 Harley-Davidson FXDSE when he lost control and collided with the guardrail.

Rutz was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. He was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Authorities confirmed that alcohol was not a factor in the accident. The Wabasha County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
