The Minnesota Vikings and Tennessee Titans issued their Thursday injury reports today in advance of their Sunday matchup in Nashville. Here they are:
Minnesota Vikings
- QB Sam Darnold, Right Hand, upgraded to full participant
- RB Aaron Jones, Ribs, remained limited
- OLB Gabe Murphy, Knee, upgraded to full participant
- TE Josh Oliver, Wrist/Hand, remained limited
- LT Cam Robinson, Foot, upgraded to full participant
- OLB Andrew Van Ginkel, Hip, remained limited
- LB Blake Cashman, Elbow, remained full participant
- S Theo Jackson, Hand, remained full participant
- LB Ivan Pace Jr., Knee, remained full participant
Good news for the Vikings from yesterday as a few players that were limited yesterday were upgraded to full participants. Gabe Murphy was also upgraded to full participant, suggesting he may be activated from IR this week. My guess is nobody on the list is likely to miss Sunday’s game against the Titans, which echos Kevin O’Connell’s comments yesterday.
Tennessee Titans
- OLB Arden Key, Back, upgraded to full participant
- CB Roger McCreary, Knee, upgraded to full participant
- RB Tony Pollard, NIR- Rest, upgraded to limited participant
- DT Jeffrey Simmons, NIR-Rest, upgraded to full participant
- CB L’Jarius Sneed, Quad, DNP for second day
- RT Leroy Watson, Back, DNP for second day
- DB Justin Hardee, Groin, downgraded to DNP
L’Jarius Sneed remains the headliner on the Titans injury report and his not practicing again today makes it less likely he’ll play on Sunday, although he seemed like a long shot to begin the week.
Leroy Watson is the backup right tackle for the Titans but has been the starter (and lowest graded tackle in the league per PFF), so if he can’t go as increasingly looks to be the case, John Ojukwu could be his replacement. He’s a 2023 UDFA that’s played 85 snaps this season.
