VEHICLE ROLLS INTO DITCH ON I-35 IN RICE COUNTY – DRIVER HOSPITALIZED!

Rice County (trfnews.i234.me) was the site of a single-vehicle rollover crash on Thursday afternoon after a Honda CR-V veered off the highway and flipped into a ditch.

The crash occurred at 3:54 PM on March 6, 2025, on Southbound Interstate 35 near Milepost 67 in Forest Township.

Crash Details & Emergency Response

Authorities reported that a 2010 Honda CR-V was traveling southbound on I-35 when it suddenly left the roadway and rolled over into a ditch.

Emergency responders, including the Rice County Sheriff’s Office and Northfield Ambulance, arrived at the scene to assist.

Driver’s Condition & Hospitalization

  • Jasmine Mary Kate Ou Funes (20) of Lakeville, MN, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Northfield Hospital for treatment.

Authorities confirmed that:
✅ The driver was wearing a seatbelt
✅ Airbags deployed
❌ Alcohol was NOT involved
