URGENT UPDATE: Oil Pipeline Leak Reported in Northeast North Dakota

EDINBERG, ND (trfnews.i234.me) We’ve had a significant oil pipeline spill in Northeast North Dakota near Edinberg.
[Music] we’ve had a fairly significant oil pipeline break it’s discovered around 6:00 a.m. on this Wednesday morning right now you can see a at noon here at backhoe at the end of a stopping up a culvert there – presumably stop the flow of oil any further down the Coulee you look this now this is a TransCanada pipeline we’ll see the terminal here will up and by that and as you look up the Coulee here on the side of that Bank that black that’s oil again this was discovered about 6:00 this morning here’s Walsh County Sheriff Ron Jergens with more on all this we found this out this morning a little after 6:00 a.m. this morning and the the pipeline is owned by TransCanada okay any idea how much oil has spilled and hasn’t been turned off the oil pipeline has been turned off at this point we do not have an estimation of how much has been spilled but the pipeline company is on site and the proper people have been notified okay fine look it’s just to me I’ve never had one deal so like I can’t I can’t tell you offhand and I haven’t gotten anything official from the pipeline company for your stone yes I I believe there’s some pipeline inspectors that from the state that will be up to look at this also so yeah tonight the state has been notified as well as the you know the water water people also so yes their proper notifications have been made through Emergency Management and there will be people that are coming up to check you know water quality and all that stuff also as well as making sure supervising the cleanup okay and you said it was discovered around 6:00 a.m. I believe it was shut off before the before it was reported to us so around 6:00 a.m. I yeah that would be my assumption that that the spill was previous to that and I’m not sure how long is it pumped before we were notable near Edinburgh North Dakota I’m Neil Berg reporting for I news TV
