URGENT: Massive Wildfire Forces Evacuations in Proximity to Bemidji, Minnesota

BEMIDJI, MN (trfnews.i234.me) Multiple ground and air crews are fighting a wildfire near Bemidji, Minnesota on this Tuesday afternoon.
some breaking news out of bemidji minnesota on this tuesday afternoon it sounds like we’ve got a major size wildfire about uh four to five miles north and a bit west of bemidji on radar road uh here’s a bit of that radio traffic that started uh around 3 15. i’m going to do an all-call call per officer on scene he believes he could use the air [Music] now as of 4 17 p.m on this tuesday listening to radio traffic here regarding this wildfire north of bemidji off radar road uh bemidji all call for their fire department soul wave fire law enforcement called into the area and it sounded like some evacuations were going on and also air support being called in uh we have three planes in the air and one helicopter uh scooping water from lake bemidji to drop on this wildfire we’re also heard radio traffic that this may have been intentionally set nothing confirmed yet uh but a uh pretty big wildfire fight going on north of bemidji uh we’ll keep you updated i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
