we have an update regarding a high-speed Pursuit and crash in Devils Lake early Saturday morning charges have now been filed against Malachi Red Road he’s been charged with felony reckless endangerment felony criminal mischief and misdemeanors of fleeing a police officer in a vehicle and misdemeanor refusal to Halt according to the criminal complaint a Ramsey County Deputy observed a vehicle on County Road 1 speeding the deputy attempted to conduct a traffic stop and accelerated in speeds of excess of 105 miles per hour the vehicle passed Vehicles traveling on the public Highway south of Devils Lake North into Devils Lake the vehicle then crashed into the drive-through of the U.S bank property uh Red Road fled on foot from the vehicle and was not immediately located it was determined that the vehicle belonged to Red Road his wallet to cell phone and other personal property were located around the vehicle Red Road called and turned himself into law enforcement yet injuries consistent with the vehicle crash and was treated for his injuries at Chi I’m Neil Berg reporting for itrfnews.i234.me
