UPDATE: Woman Dies and 2 Suspects Arrested in Suspected Overdoses Case

FERTILE, MN (trfnews.i234.me) Authorities now say a driver who overdosed and another man have been arrested in connection to a drug overdose that killed a woman near Fertile, Minnesota Monday night.
we have an update now regarding that incident on highway 102 by fertile monday evening this now in from troy christensen of the department of public safety quote the minnesota state patrol and polk county sheriff’s office are investigating an incident that took place monday evening on highway 102. while checking on a stalled vehicle a minnesota state trooper discovered two unresponsive adults and two young children who were awake in the vehicle an ems crew was able to revive the male driver with narcan while the female passenger 32 year old katie flick was pronounced dead at the scene the driver 29 year old georgie piatkoff who has a previous dwi warrant was taken to a local hospital and the polk county sheriff’s department now says after further investigation of the incident it’s suspected to be a fentanyl overdose and pietkopf and andrey lashon metcalf 43 of crookston were both arrested and charges are pending the sheriff’s department says approximately 16 m-30 fake percocet pills were recovered which are suspected to contain fentanyl m30 pills have been flooding the region and are extremely deadly as they have been the source of multiple overdoses i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
