Mona Lisa Perez has made her first court appearance she’s charged with second-degree manslaughter which carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison Perez allegedly shot her boyfriend Pedro Ruiz to death while trying a YouTube stunt to see if a book would stop a bullet to his chest he died in Halsted Monday night bond was set for Perez today on the condition of no firearms and being hooked up to GPS monitoring she could get out of jail for $5,000 her next court appearance is scheduled for July 5th I’m Neil Berg reporting for i-news TV
