UPDATE: Water Rescue & Street Flooding In Fargo-Moorhead


FARGO-MOORHEAD (trfnews.i234.me) Street flooding across Fargo-Moorhead Tuesday night after a thunderstorm rolled through. Two women in Fargo had to be rescued after their car was completely submerged after driving into a ditch.

Now, just talked with the National Weather Service who says uh downtown and South Fargo Morehead got the worst of the rain up at the airport, 1.69 69 in of rain. But following I 94 from west to east from Castleton to Dworth 3 to 4 ines of rain along that uh corridor I94 corridor. Uh the Fargo uh Police Department, Sergeant Robinson uh says at 10:11 p.m. they responded to a call on the 1400 block at 25th Avenue South. Officers found a vehicle that had driven into a drainage ditch. The vehicle was completely submerged in water and two females were on the roof of the vehicle. Fargo Fire assisted in getting the females out of the water. Uh no injuries reported after uh flooded streets across the FM area Tuesday night. I’m Bob Carlson reporting for Newswe.
