UPDATE: Three additional rollovers reported following major crash near Thompson on Saturday night.

GRAND FORKS, ND (trfnews.i234.me) We’re getting a few more details regarding a multi-vehicle, multi-injury crash near Thompson, North Dakota Saturday night. It was followed by 3 more rollover crashes.
here’s the latest on that multi-vehicle crash on a slippery i-29 just north of thompson on saturday evening emergency calls started going out at uh 6 p.m saturday there were thompson finders requesting mutual aid at a multi-vehicle accident i-29 northbound at mile marker 132 repeating reynolds fire please respond well micro 132 in the northbound lane thompson fires requesting mutual aid assistance at a multi-vehicle accident now sergeant panasonic of the ohio patrol says it took until after 10 pm to clear the accident scene at this time there still uh working on details here uh but he uh says there appears there are around 15 to 20 vehicles in the accident uh the number of injuries isn’t determined yet but he says they’re believed to be non-life-threatening uh we heard radio traffic of at least uh three or four people transported to the hospital uh this all remains under investigation yet but uh you can see here a bad crash scene one vehicle rolled over we also had a grand forks county sheriff’s deputy car hit by a vehicle the officer was not injured we heard the officer talking on the radio but uh multi-vehicle accident just after six pm uh saturday evening and uh here’s what it looked like a mile south of uh to the thompson exit we had more vehicles backed up and more crashes um again as i said heavy traffic on the interstate last night as folks made their way to the grand forks alaris center for the morgan wallin concert then uh just after this 6 p.m crash there were at least three more rollovers that started just a half hour later uh near buxton fire please respond to a vehicle roll over i-29 and then at 8 30 p.m a second roll over uh south of this uh thompson crash site please respond to a rollover itself a buck and six miles on i-29 then 10 minutes later a report of another roll over south of this crash scene down by hillsboro hillsborough please respond i-29 mile marker 102 for a vehicle roll over hillsboro fire please respond to i-29 mile marker 102. private vehicle rollover it will likely take some time but we’ll have more details as soon as the highway patrol finishes putting together information on multiple crashes on an icy i-29 from grand forks to hillsboro on saturday night i’m Neil Berg reporting for eye news dot tv you
