WADENA, MN (trfnews.i234.me) Multiple fire crews are battling a major fire at Minnesota Valley Irrigation in Wadena. And a shelter indoors request for Wadena residents has been lifted.
more photos of a major fire at minnesota valley irrigation in wadena minnesota on this uh memorial day uh this from the wadena police department emergency personnel are working on a large fire at minnesota valley irrigation the cloud of smoke is not dangerous to breathe in however we are asking residents to shelter in place we recommend that you close your windows and shut off your air conditioning air conditioning we ask everyone to avoid the area as it is causing congestion with emergency equipment the fema gym is open for anybody that wants to take shelter there we are currently in a severe thunderstorm warning uh just looking now that has just been canceled uh the wadena police department fire department and wadena county sheriff’s office will keep residents updated with accurate information again a uh major fire here at minnesota valley uh irrigation in wadena minnesota on this memorial day i heard the initial traffic was called in it was called in as a storage building that had chemicals in it none of that confirmed yet as to what’s actually burning in there but residents have been asked to stay indoors i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
