UPDATE: Recent Weekend Sees High Activity for Beltrami County Law Enforcement, Leading to Felony Charges

as we told you sunday it was a busy weekend for law enforcement in beltrami county as of this tuesday morning here’s a look at the felony level charges that have been filed a 32 year old tyler stating of hackensack minnesota has been charged with felony criminal vehicular operation substantial bodily harm alcohol concentration .08 or more according to court records on august 1st at 6 12 p.m deputies responded to the intersection of sunnyside road southeast and north grace lake road in beltrami county a 2018 gmc a sierra pickup was upside down in the ditch and a 2012 dodge ram had substantial damage it was also in the ditch stating had been driving the rolled over vehicle and submitted a preliminary breath test of 0.179 more than twice the legal limit two people in the dodge ram uh pickup suffered serious injuries when authorities say a stating ran a stop sign and 39 year old joshua haggard of black duck has been charged with felony burglary and gross misdemeanor violation of a no contact order according to court documents on july 31st at 7 37 pm deputies removed him from a female’s apartment in black deck who found him in the residence the victim has a no contact order against hager and 30 year old christopher clark of bemidji has been charged with felony terroristic threats reckless disregard according to court records on july 31st at 7 30 pm uh deputies responded to the little norway trailer park in bemidji two victims reported he came into a home uninvited and then made threats of violence toward them while standing in the yard brandishing a knife and 41 year old curtis buckinaga of bemidji has been charged with felony domestic abuse according to court records on july 31st at 10 44 p.m bemidji police responded to a residence and found the female victim lying face down near the bedroom she was transported to the hospital to be treated for her injuries uh bucka kanaga was arrested and has two previous convictions for violating a danko order a no contact order and 42 year old jason wells of laporte minnesota has been charged with felony fleeing and felony first degree dwi according to court records on august 1st at 1 58 a.m deputies were investigating a vehicle and the driver jason wells at pete’s place south when wells allegedly took off the pursuit continued through hubbard and cass counties at speeds of over 100 miles per hour when the vehicle suddenly stopped and wells tried to run on foot but was quickly arrested and 31 year old cody lenny of clear brook has been charged with felony fleeing felony possession of ammo or firearm and gross misdemeanor dwi on july 30th according to court records at 10 47 p.m a deputies tried to stop a chevy cavalier that was speeding but the vehicle took off after a short pursuit laney crashed and took off into the woods where he was quickly found by a deputy and his canine and finally 33 year old brian rinkenberger of bemidji has been charged with felony fleeing a peace officer in motor vehicle according to court records on july 29th at 701 pm a deputy saw him driving and knew he didn’t have a valon license uh rickenberger of allegedly fled eastbound on roosevelt road exited the roadway near finchery drive down atv trails the vehicle was found and rinkenberger was arrested at a residence on august 1st i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me

  1. These are the situations that develop when broken down families cannot see the light of day of what’s happening in their lives. Dad’s need to be dad’s, mom’s need to be mom’s and children need to grow up in responsible homes. Discipline is key along the way and a faith based household would help immensely too. If anyone can disagree with these statements, then you’re just another person with the possibility of what’s going wrong in society today. A child won’t choose to commit (no matter at what age) crimes if they know right from wrong.
