Update: Pembina to Fargo High Speed Chase Results in Arrests of 2 Juveniles

FARGO, ND (trfnews.i234.me) We have an updated regarding our Saturday morning story about a high speed chase from the Northern Valley to Fargo. The Highway Patrol now says 2 juvenile males were arrested. No injuries.
we have an update on that valley long high speed chase on this saturday morning the highway patrol says it was now two male juveniles in a stolen vehicle this from the ohio patrol uh motor vehicle pursuit occurred today on i-29 spanning several counties the pursuit originated in pembina county pembina county deputy observed a vehicle that was reported as stolen from harwood and was expediting the seat speed limit when the deputy attempted a traffic stop the vehicle fled southbound on i-29 the top speed of the fleet vehicle during the pursuit was 95 miles per hour the suspect exited the interstate and traveled eastbound on highway 54 that’s around oslo entering minnesota then turned westbound returning to north dakota and it continued to travel southbound on i-29 as law enforcement continued to pursue the vehicle drove over a spike strip set out by grand forks sheriff’s office deflating one tire the suspect vehicle continued to flee southbound the vehicle entered a construction zone on i-29 south of hillsboro and drove southbound in the northbound northbound lanes toward oncoming traffic before it merged back into the southbound lanes at mile post 75 on i-29 the suspect vehicle drove over spike strips deployed by a trooper the suspect vehicle continued to flee southbound on i-29 with only one tire remaining on the vehicle the suspect vehicle was unable to maintain one lane and began to steer toward pursuing law enforcement vehicles a pit maneuver pursuit intervention technique was utilized on the fleeing vehicle before it was able to enter the fargo moorhead area the suspect left the roadway entering the ditch west of i-29 once off the roadway the suspect vehicle continued to flee southbound in the ditch and drove back onto i-29 where it struck a north dakota highway patrol squad car the suspect vehicle was then forcibly rammed off the roadway by a north dakota highway patrol squad car ending the pursuit in the west ditch a juvenile male driver and juvenile male passenger were taken into custody without further incident the pursuit covered 103 miles on i-29 there were no injuries to the suspects or law enforcement both suspects are facing charges of fleeing reckless endangerment theft of a motor vehicle and possession of stolen property agencies involved in the incident were the pemba county sheriff’s office walsh county sheriff grand forks county sheriff’s office trail county sheriff cass county sheriff’s office and north dakota highway patrol i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
