UPDATE: Ongoing Search Effort for Missing Girl in Bemidji

BEMIDJI, MN (trfnews.i234.me) The search for a missing 15-year old girl in Bemidji, Minnesota continues.
[Applause] [Music] family and friends of 15 year old nevaeh king bird who’s now been missing since october 22nd got together on the south end of bemidji today for a search followed by a spirit fire to try and connect with her here’s her uncle daniel wind my my niece has been missing for a few months now since late october she was last seen um not too far from where she lives or trailer court over here by the eagles club and i don’t know um they all said that she just took off so we’re out here searching you know we’re all trying to put ourself in in her shoes what we would do if we were the ones taking off running you know what i mean and uh so we’re out here searching just close by you know and we did phone we did find some items you know we found we found a sweater with that hopefully hopefully that is a clue and will lead to something and uh just um i know i know the the police are doing everything they can and they are following a number of leads um yeah it’s just we’re just it’s just hard we’re trying to do best we can and you know it’s just crazy the holidays we just want her home but um but yeah um we’re giving our area a search and a place not to search and uh we’re just trying to border border around an area where without without you know missing any investigation up we’re just doing the best we can to try to get her home and um and if and when she’s out there i just want to say if anybody has her just look you know or if anybody knows where she’s at just please please we want her home we need we need her home that’s our baby girl you know any any little information that you guys can provide just you don’t even have to let us know who you are just send us a location just give us a clue please we need we need our baby girl home but yeah um i just want to thank the uh we had dollar general helping us out in the last search bemidji bemidji eagles club they they opened up their doors to us and that’s where we’ve been kind of headquartered out today and just yeah in the bemidji police department and had my cousin from the leech lake police he’s trained in search and rescue he’s he’s been helping and just yeah just want to thank everybody who’s been showing up and showing support all the prayers and um we just want our girl home i just want a girl home
