SEBEKA, MN (trfnews.i234.me) – A serious rollover crash near Sebeka, Minnesota, on Wednesday afternoon required the response of three medical helicopters. The Wadena County Sheriff’s Office reported that at 3:17 p.m., they received a call about a single-vehicle rollover on 298th Street in Red Eye Township, just east of 135th Avenue.
First responders arrived at the scene to find a 1997 GMC extended cab pickup truck with extensive damage from the rollover. All five occupants were found outside the vehicle; three had been ejected during the crash, while the other two exited the vehicle on their own.
The occupants suffered injuries ranging from minor to critical. Among the five occupants, four were juvenile males, and one was an adult male. Three Medevac helicopters and one ambulance transported four of the injured from the scene, while one occupant was taken by his parents.
Speed is considered a possible factor in the crash, but driver impairment is not believed to be involved. The names of the injured have not been released, and the condition of the occupants is currently unknown as the investigation continues.
