Streeter: 2 Killed in Hwy 30 Head-On Semi Crash
Streeter (trfnews.i234.me) – Two men were killed in a head-on crash involving two semi trucks in Logan County, North Dakota, according to the North Dakota Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2025, at about 8:34 a.m. It occurred on Highway 30 near mile marker 22. The location is about three miles south of Streeter.
What Happened
Authorities say Abdullahi Mohamud, 39, of Moorhead, Minnesota, was driving a 2026 International truck pulling a semi-trailer. The truck was traveling northbound on Highway 30.
Scott Schilling, 53, of Wishek, North Dakota, was driving a 2025 Kenworth truck pulling double semi-trailers. Authorities say he was traveling southbound on the same highway.
The two vehicles collided head-on, according to the crash report. Both drivers died at the scene.

Passenger Hurt and Airlifted
A passenger in the International truck, Mursal Diriye, 41, of East Grand Forks, Minnesota, suffered serious injuries. Authorities say Diriye was airlifted to Sanford Hospital in Bismarck.
Officials said road and weather conditions were dry at the time of the crash. Seat belt use was listed as unknown.
Highway Closed for Hours
The highway was closed with a detour in place for about six hours while crews responded and cleared the scene.
Investigation Continues
The North Dakota Highway Patrol continues to investigate. No further details were released in the update.
