UPDATE: Gruesome Details In Southern Minnesota Double Homicide

HANSKA, MN (trfnews.i234.me) Charges have now been filed in connection to the double homicide in Hanska, Minnesota early Sunday morning. Randy Zimmerman is the suspect. He was captured in Iowa later Sunday, following the murders.
We now have more details in the brutal slain of a 32-year-old woman and 50-year-old man in Hansa, Minnesota early Sunday morning. Uh the suspect, Randy Zimmerman of Courtland, Minnesota is the suspect in this case. He was picked up on Sunday afternoon awaiting extradition uh back to Brown County, the scene of the murders. Um he’s facing a charge of uh murder in the secondderee. Preliminary uh charges now filed with graphic details. Uh reading from the statement of probable cause with the names of officers and witnesses omitted. Uh, quote, “On November 2nd at 4:22 am, Brown County Dispatch received a call from a juvenile witness who stated that his mom’s ex-boyfriend, Randy Thomas Zimmerman, broke into their house and shot his mom in the face. Officers determined there were two deceased victims at the scene. Uh, inside, the investigator found two adult individuals, one male and one female, laying in the upstairs bedroom with apparent gunshot wounds to their heads. On the floor of the bedroom, I noticed the officer noticed two spent shotgun shells. Uh, the juvenile stated he woke to someone yelling, “You effing [ __ ] I gave you a chance.” And then he heard one loud discharge from a firearm. The juvenile opened his bedroom door to the hallway and recognized Randy Zimmerman, his mother’s ex-boyfriend, standing near the stairs. The juvenile stated that Zimmerman pointed a long gun at him and told him to go back to his room. The juvenile closed his bedroom door and waited before calling 911. Later in the morning, a witness called and stated he’d received a text message from uh Zimmerman around 4:28 a.m. in the morning stating he shot them both. At the time, the suspect Zimmerman whereabouts were unknown. vote that was from the statement of probable cause. He was arrested in Iowa and uh now waiting uh extradition back to Brown County.
