we had a firefighter injured and a home destroyed up in nichi along the canadian border on this wednesday morning here’s some of the radio traffic has to start coming in at 7 15 a.m on this feminine wednesday you’re needed at 533 east fifth street and nichi for a house fire come in a fire and 10 minute ambulance you’re needed at 533 east 5th street and nichi for a house fire now the home was destroyed uh no one was living there but firefighter joey bjornson of the nichi volunteer fire department was injured i just talked with his wife jody they were on the way back from the hospital um he fell off a ladder from about 10 feet while fighting the fire after a apparent pressure change in the hose suffered a broken vertebrae and a broken nose but he is back at home on this wednesday evening the house was destroyed by fire again no injuries the cause remains under investigation i’m Neil Berg reporting for trfnews.i234.me
